When considering piano classes at Open Lid, please note this limited list of benefits of beginning lessons with Mr. Corona:

• More than 20 years of teaching experience working with students of all ages in group and private settings and at all levels - beginner to advanced.

• Mr. Corona is fully background checked with the Department of Justice and FBI-level clearance with a clean record. Open Lid Piano Studio is also an “Approved Agency” with the Department of Justice.

• So that students learn from the first lesson what a quality instrument feels and sounds like, students have their piano lesson on high-quality, well-maintained Yamaha and Kawai grand pianos.

• Previous students of Mr. Corona have passed Level 10 (the Advanced, highest level) of the MTAC’s “Certificate of Merit” program. Current students are working on Level 10 and below.

• Students will learn in an environment that is conducive to learning (not at their own home or in their teachers’ home).

• Learn with a caring and loving teacher who really wants to see each student succeed.

• Mr. Corona’s students have also participated in, and have won, local piano competitions. They also participate in master-classes, recitals and yearly evaluation programs.

• Free, easy parking when attending their lesson at Open Lid’s accessible studio location in a strip mall directly on Foothill Blvd. in Crescenta Highlands (Glendale).

• Mr. Corona is a member of the top two music teaching associations - MTAC and MTNA (State and National). Association teachers operate under a Code of Conduct and Ethics.
